Do these shoes match this purse? You betcha!

Curley and I made a dress for me! Isn't that material wild? And you can't have a zingy new dress without matching shoes and purse! Otherwise, I would be false advertising here at my blog! Ummm, and I added the boa for fun! So, here I am modeling our creation! thank you Curley for my beauty! Can't wait to see the purple one! (and I wasn't sure if I wanted to be in the picture of not, but the dress didn't look the same on the hanger... and this picture sure looked funny when I decapitated myself!)

Thanks to our Pink Saturday hostess Beverly at How Sweet the Sound! And please visit Nancy, fellow pink blogger who always has something wonderful and creative and clever for PS and all the time! And I love the comments she leaves me, and her "attitude" in her writings! She rocks. And lucky her- she's moving back to civilization- California! Go Nancy at La Chambre Rose (Linens and Laurel).

And as always, In shoes we trust,
Maggie Mae

Oh, aren't you just a sweetie! Thank SO much for the shout out! Yes, I do seem to leave outrageous comments...that happens when you have only bear and fox to converse with on a daily basis.

Love the print on the dress. So late MCM! And, thank you for keeping the integrity of the blog by matching those shoes and purse!

Cannot wait to see my west coast peeps, Trader Joe's, IKEA, McDonald's, In-and-Out Burger, all the touristy stuff in San Fran. I am proudly a big box store and fast food lover. Whether I buy or not, I just like having familiar things around me. And, before anyone gets all uppity about this, I bet WalMart is TOO on their list of haunts 'cuz most everybody ('cept me) has one! Woo HOO!

I need a dress like that for my MCM cocktail party I'm planning, in my MCM house, Ha!

Just running out to the hardware store, are you? LOL!
The boa is so wonderfully outrageous!

I'd break my neck in the shoes and I'd have the purse so full I'd have to use both hands to carry it, but you look like you're having no problem! You could even add a wide-brimmed hat!

What fun!

Nan- I thought that print was outrageous and couldn't resist! Thank you!

Evil P- thanks!

Nancy- I remember when I lived in the Wild West and had to drive 86 miles one way just to hit a Wally World and a McDonalds- that was as fancy as it got, so I totally KNOW where you're coming from. Have a super time getting to know San Fran!!

MaryLee- thanks so much! And yes, just dashing out to buy a hammer, of course! LOL, and instead of a wide rimmed hat I have ordered a burlesque hat to go with it- one of those little mini top hats, in black and pink and green satin! I like being a little outrageous, sometimes! I was going to wear it to a screening of Sex and the City 2 but my friend just couldn't bring herself to go with me in a get up like that! haha!

Gorgeous! I don't sew and I don't do dresses, but that one is absolutely gorgeous. I'm so glad you modeled it for the picture ... you're right, the hanger couldn't have done it justice.

Nanny Kim- thank you! I think a vintage retro hat would rock!

Jaclyn- never enough pink, I think...

magpie- thanks so much!

catharina maria- thank you dear!

Lisa- thanks. I love prints that are bold- usually. I thought I should have more color for the summer. and the weight of the material will also let me wear it into the fall and do really retro with some kickin black knee boots!

jingle- thanks. i love 'em!

Bragger- thank you. i love dresses but it seems i have fewer and fewer opportunities to wear them, darn it! We're going to do the same pattern in a wild pink flowers, too. hope it turns out as well!

Jillian and CC- thank you ladies for your kind words!

Lorena- thanks dear- sometimes ya just gotta be over the top!

Stephanie at Queen of Dreamz- thanks so much! I love fabrics. I could just buy tons and keep stacks of it! This is one of my favorites! My friend Curley is making me another dress using the same exact pattern but the fabric this time is from the Tutti-Fruitti line (at Joann Fabrics) and it's little flowers. A totally different material and texture so it will make 'the look' different, too!

Vickie- thank you!
