Introducing Satchels & Shoes Sunday

My new plaid shoes and my new Vera Wang bag...

Daddy-O gave me the Blackwatch Plaid heels with the peek-a-boo toes for Christmas and I cannot wait to wear them- maybe New Year's Eve or on my date next Saturday with "Sam" (he's taking me dinner and dancing...)? And the black Vera Wang bag... funny story about it: Daddy-O and I went to Kohls on Monday before Christmas and it was 50% off but I wouldn't buy it for myself that close to the holiday. The next day Hecate and I went shopping and it was still 50% off and I still didn't buy it. My grandmother of evil gave me $$$ so I bought this bag on Boxing Day and it was 60% off! BONUS!!!

Welcome to a new Sunday series....

In Shoes we Trust,
Maggie

The heel on those shoes scares the crap out of me. LOL I so would trip and fall and break something.

L-O-V-E the bag!!!

It's been so long since I've worn shoes like that, Maggieshecate, that I'll have to walk around the house to practice! And they still had bags like this left at the many Kohnls I've been too... :)

Even if I was a hip, female sophisticate, I wouldn't buy a bag named after a penis.

I'm just sayin'.

(And somebody had to say it!)

But Farrago, what if it was named after your penis?

Maggie, love your tag line on this post ... "In shoes we trust" :) Nice score, too!

Chuck- thank you! And it was nice, wasn't it? I simply adore a shoe or purse sale! Or both!

Oh yes.... yes...
Yes!!!

Rose- aren't they just... divine? LOVE LOVE LOVE them myself! (And I thought of you when I was trying them on!)

I *heart* the shoes and bag. Maybe I'll have to hit Kohl's this weekend before heading back to the teenage drama land. Have I mentioned I hate teaching teenagers? But on the bright side, I'd be looking stunning in new heels! ~wink~

Rose- do you have a Shoe Carnival there? Maybe I should go and sang a pair of these for you!

Honey- thanks. I'm just waiting for somewhere great to wear them. Maybe a job interview? Couldn't hurt, right?

Rose said...

Shoe Carnival? Unfortunately not!
But what a good idea! Imagine a shopping centre just for women's shoes? Oh that would be a dream!

rose- that would be a version of heaven- add chocolate and not gaining weight and it would be a utopia!

uh...is it weird that I'm commenting on a blog entry that's several months old? Do you even ever see comments as old as this one? (Typically, when I find someone's blog, I go back to the very beginning and start reading from there).

Holy crap - those shoes are HOT!! I'm practically drooling on myself right now. I swear, if my ankles ever stop falling apart on me, I'm going to look for a pair just like those!!
