Here's what I did:
- woke up late
- texted Sam
- made coffee
- danced around the living room, and sang in my hairbrush to Lady Gaga
- made cinnamon rolls
- laid upsidedown on the couch and floor and read a book
- finished the book
- finished the coffee
- finished the cinnamon rolls
- blogged about the book I finished
- enjoyed the quiet by just staring at the ceiling in silence
- played Genetic Alchemy on my cell phone
- played Worddrop on my cell phone
- talked to Sam
- took a shower around 7pm
- ate dinner with Sam
- started reading another book, back in my jammies, sprawled across the couch, drinking a large bottle of wine, out of glass
- thinking about eating a Dove Ice Cream Bar- not on the couch, though...
- thinking if I have enough cash to pay off Mac to go away for the day so I can do this again

Sounds like a wonderfully relaxing day! I'm so jealous! I took about 10 minutes to myself tonight and sat outside and finished a book I was reading. It was so peaceful out there!
It was quiet here today also and I still couldn't finish my book. I kept trying to fall alseep.
Sometimes days like this are the best restorer of sanity, balance, good sense, emotions, and all things peaceful! But for heaven's sake, don't do it too often, because if you do, you begin to feel like a slug....takes all the fun right out of it!!
Hmmm, just realized that your day today, also pretty much accomplishes #22 on your list!! How about that!!?
I have been having one of those days nearly every day since last June 2. Believe me, it does just as Mellodee says: turns you into a slug. Now you know what salt does to a slug...should I continue to put salt on my Margarita rims...YES! Even had one for lunch yesterday, after all it was 5 o'clock somewhere!

I am so looking forward to one or more of these days. Hubby is talking about going back to Mississippi next weekend, and I'm .... NOT GOING. I'm trying not to show my glee at having the house to myself for the weekend. Tee hee.
Booknut- I'm glad you found peace! :)
Curley- that's the one thing I didn't really do was nap. go me!
Mellodee- I wouldn't mind doing days like these until i felt like a slug; then I'd stop! I've worked 3-4 jobs at a time for so long, it was nice to have a slug moment.
And I couldn't decide if I should cross it off or not since I didn't read fashion magazines. I might have to do it again, just to accomplish #22!
JE- yup!
Bragger- go you- you deserve a day like that- or many days! Hope he has a great time on his trip while you enjoy it, in your own way!!!!
