The Pizza dude...
ReplyDeleteI love the story about when you were the youngest kid ever to have a paper route (ok, maybe not ever, but it sounds good). I crack up every time I think of you having a go at that mean old dude on your route - for some reason every time I imagine it, you look like Shirley Temple in little pink shoes... at least I got the shoes right, huh?
ReplyDeleteOr there was that time we went out to eat and I made the mistake of telling you they had margaritas on sale and you got one and then proceeded to through lettuce on the floor because it looked like confetti!
ReplyDeleteThis one time at B&N we were sitting chatting in the comfy chairs and you were telling me about your shrew of a grandmother and we had a few visitors. The first acted like he was talking on his phone (even though it wasn't on) listening to our conversation. The second was a older guy and his son/grandson and evidential we were a bit loud and giggly because the older gentlemen said "ok time to go" and as he walked away he made sure to talk loud enough to say, "I can't take Shrew of a Grandmother anymore". LOL
ReplyDeleteQuiero el poste cuando usted y chica de radiografía estuvo en el restaurante mexicano y ella pensó que ella podría hablar español. ¡Margaritas largo de vida!!
ReplyDeletehee hee..........p
Hint:
¿Habla usted español?
Maggie and my favorite thing to do is grab Daddy-O and head for the big material store in North Civilization. We spend a couple hours in this great mecca of material and lots of times come away with everything but material. Like the day we bought holiday socks, a tiara, chocolate and marshmallow peeps. My favorite Maggie blog is about her first apartment and all the critters that invaded her domain. While reading this, I could just picture her hiding in the bedroom from the scratching in the cemented over fireplace. While she was describing going into the basement, I was indeed yelling "Don't go into the basement" even tho after living 20+ years in the country, I knew it was probably an opossum or a large rat. All in all a very funny story.
ReplyDeleteTaDa- and still no word on him!
ReplyDeleteWiley- I probably had pigtails and pink tennis shoes!
Lilith- Well, I couldn't take her either!haha!
Lilith- who me? I did that? Lettuce confetti?!? No, I would never do that! ;)
Sam/P- I have to get a translator! ;)
Curley- who needs fabric if you have all that other good stuff?!?
And I went into the stupid basement anyway...!
Thanks all! I giggled all the way through!
